The Director, Category Growth (General Manager) is the business owner of a major category vertical. This leader is accountable for the full P&L and long-term trajectory of their category - including supply growth, liquidity, demand activation, monetization, and marketplace health. You will operate as a true GM: setting vision, defining strategy, allocating resources, building a team, and driving cross-functional execution. You will represent your vertical at the leadership level and ensure that product, marketing, operations, and partnerships are aligned to unlock sustainable growth. This role is both entrepreneurial and executive - suited for a leader who wants to build and scale a culturally driven business within a high-impact marketplace. What you'll own: Full-Stack Category P&L - Own revenue, contribution margin, liquidity, and growth targets for your vertical - Develop annual and multi-year business plans, forecasts, and investment cases - Allocate resources across acquisition, retention, and engagement to maximize ROI - Drive pricing, incentives, and promotional strategies aligned to marketplace health Vertical
