INTEGRATION ENGINEER (STARSHIP) - NIGHT SHIFT As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing requirements and developing tooling and processes to enable at-rate production of the most powerful rocket ever made. Your role will focus on the integration of avionics, propulsion, and structural assemblies, and you will work with both design engineering and technician teams daily. You will be well-positioned to influence overall vehicle architecture, with a focus on design for reliability and manufacturability. RESPONSIBILITIES - Operate as a systems-level engineer to collect production requirements, then plan and execute the build, integration, and validation of flight hardware to those requirements - Design and implement tooling solutions to eliminate assembly errors, improve quality, and accelerate build - Automate novel processes to ensure repeatability on a large-scale production line - Prove that a subsystem work center meets cycle time requirements, or own the design change required to meet the target cycle time - Become a subject matter expert for the build of a vehicle-level system, like aero control surfaces, propellant feed systems, actuation systems, thermal protection systems, secondary structures, avionics, primary structure, etc. - Generate and maintain design for manufacturing requirements for the processes used
