About the role We're growing our SF engineering hub and hiring a Staff Engineer to be a technical leader here. You'll own key product areas, set architecture and quality bars, and support growing an elite team. We are in unprecedented times and in startups, this role is truly unbounded as to what you can accomplish. What you'll do - Lead technical direction: set architecture, reliability, and performance standards; make trade-offs explicit; keep the bar high. - Build & mentor a team: hire great engineers, level them up, and create a high-trust, high-feedback culture. - Work directly with our customers: translate messy, high-leverage problems into shippable work; measure outcomes. - Own critical systems end-to-end: - Partner across SF & Dublin: tight loops with product/design/GTM; share context and push decisions over the line. What success looks like - 3 months: You've shipped one meaningful product to customers, enabled GTM, recorded and ran demos
