About this role
DevOps Engineer - Support India SigNoz is a global open source project with users in 50+ countries. We are building an open-source observability platform which helps developers monitor their applications and troubleshoot problems, quickly. In less than a year of our launch, we have reached 26,000+ Github stars https://github.com/signoz/signoz, 7,000+ members in the slack community and 200+ contributors. WHY US? - Opportunity to work in a global dev infra product - Backed by YC and some of the prominent VCs in the Bay Area - We are completely remote. No offices - Founding team member opportunity - build customer engineering function from scratch WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR This is not your typical DevOps role. If you're looking for someone to just manage infrastructure without customer interaction, you should stop reading now. We're looking for someone who is: - Technical enough to solve complex distributed systems problems - you need to debug OpenTelemetry instrumentation issues, optimize ClickHouse performance, troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments, and architect solutions for observability at scale. - Customer-focused with engineering mindset - you will work directly with platform teams and SREs, helping them implement observability solutions and solve technical challenges they're facing. - Great at building infrastructure and processes - you will create tooling, automation, and processes that help both our customers and internal teams operate more efficiently. - Someone who can scale technical operations - you will build the foundation for customer engineering function and grow into leadership as we scale. - Comfortable with community engagement -
