Senior Partner Engineer, Databricks Alliance San Francisco, CA Job Summary: A Senior Partner Engineer, Databricks Alliance, is the principal technical advisor and advocate for the Sigma-Databricks partnership, both internally at Sigma and externally with Databricks. This role requires a deep, current, and comprehensive understanding of both the Sigma and Databricks products and the differentiated value they deliver together to joint customers. The Senior Partner Engineer provides technical thought leadership and strategic guidance across the partnership lifecycle, including: enabling technical sales and solution development, managing high-priority technical engagements, driving enablement for field teams, and contributing to overall revenue growth and customer success. Responsibilities: - Strategic Technical Alliance Leadership: Serve as the primary technical leader and advocate for the Sigma Computing/Databricks strategic alliance. Drive the mutual success of joint customers by ensuring seamless technical integration, optimal performance, and maximized utilization of the Databricks platform and Sigma. - Deepen and Expand Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and maintain robust technical relationships with key personnel at Databricks, including Product Management, Partner Leadership, Solution Engineering, and Sales teams, to ensure strategic alignment, drive co-innovation, and facilitate joint account mapping. - Joint Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement and Execution: Proactively collaborate with Sigma's GTM teams to identify, qualify, and technically support strategic joint customer opportunities. Develop and champion compelling technical GTM solutions, reference architectures, and partner-facing enablement content (e.g., training, workshops, internal demos). - Platform Integration and Future-Proofing: Proactively identify and scope high-value joint product opportunities and facilitate the handoff to the Partner Architect team for deeper technical engagement and
