They specialize in underground utilities for power and communications infrastructure, with planned expansion into water, sewer, and storm drain sectors. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Underground Utilities Estimator to join our team as a dedicated, full-time estimator working within our client's existing systems and workflows. This is a critical, frontline role where you will own the complete bid lifecycle and serve as a direct point of contact with major national home builders and general contractors. Your accuracy, responsiveness, and relationship-building skills directly impact bid profitability. You will work closely with ownership and play a key role in the company's ability to expand market share and pursue new work. Responsibilities - Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from civil and power utility drawings using Bluebeam and PlanSwift, with expertise in reading and interpreting utility-specific plan sets. - Conduct thorough plan reviews and specification analysis to identify missing information, clarifications, and scope questions before bid submission. - Manage the complete bid solicitation and submission process - from plan receipt through final bid delivery, including supplier and subcontractor pricing coordination. - Serve as the primary estimator contact for clients, engaging directly with home builders and general contractors
