Job Overview We are hiring a Configuration Manager focused on core product definition, audit compliance, and part traceability across programs. This individual is responsible for maintaining the structured relationships between parts, subassemblies, and top-level platforms-ensuring version-controlled consistency across our engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment environments. This role acts as the central authority for how items (designed or procured) are reused, revised, and controlled across multiple programs. The Configuration Manager - Product will work closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and program leadership to ensure that product configurations are accurate, auditable, and aligned to contract and regulatory expectations. This is the control point for configuration management at Saronic. It is not a tooling-heavy role but rather one that requires high attention to detail, fluency in product structure, and confidence enforcing standards across teams. Responsibilities - Maintain structured part and assembly relationships across all platforms and variants - Own the item master definition for Saronic's parts, subassemblies, and COTS items across programs - Ensure all product data is version-controlled, baselined, and auditable at the component, system, and platform level - Govern how items and designs are reused or revised across multiple configurations, with clear traceability - Partner with manufacturing engineering to validate MBOM alignment to the product configuration baseline - Review and oversee configuration changes ensuring they are properly
