Senior Software Engineer - Agentic & Automation Engineering Virginia - Mclean; Washington - Bellevue Overview of the Role: We are now extending our agentic and automation capabilities into Salesforce's Government Cloud (GovCloud) so our Government Security Operations Center (GSOC) CSIRT can respond at the same speed and scale as our commercial CSOC. As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, your primary mission is to help develop and deploy these agentic and automation platforms into GovCloud - designing, building, and operating the playbooks, integrations, and agents that GSOC analysts will rely on every day, and translating their incident response workflows into reliable, auditable automation. This is a deeply hands-on Python engineering role, and it's also a role for someone already operating fluently in the new era of AI-assisted software development. We don't write code the way we used to. You will be expected to use modern AI development tooling intentionally and effectively as a core part of how you ship. This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) operating on U.S. Soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.
