Responsibilities Your Role: The EHS Specialist position will perform as an effective facilitator to influence development of a proactive approach to health and environmental issues. The principal challenges include assuring that sound Environmental and Health Management systems are in place; anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling health hazards; providing input into problem-solving and implementation relative to those hazards; and monitoring and continually improving the performance of Health Management Systems. You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Provide support in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Manage Environmental Programs and overall compliance with Federal and State regulatory agencies. Conduct safety and environmental related audits. Maintain updated OSHA and EPA required written programs and develop/conduct training as necessary under the direction of the EHS Manager. Assist in injury, accident, and fire investigation reporting.
