Ameresco is seeking a motivated Air Quality Permitting Specialist to join our environmental department based in Phoenix, Arizona . We are seeking candidates with a good foundation in air quality regulations and permitting, who are ready to contribute to complex projects involving regulatory compliance, impact analyses, and reporting. Responsibilities: Prepare and submit air permit applications and compliance reports to local, state, and federal agencies. Serve as a technical resource on air quality permitting and compliance programs under NSR, PSD, Title V, state, and local regulations. Conduct air quality impact analyses, health risk assessments, and greenhouse gas analyses. Interpret and apply regulatory requirements under district regulatory programs, the federal Clean Air Act, and greenhouse gas regulations. Manage project budgets, scope, and schedule. Support environmental review processes under NEPA and CEQA. Familiar with modeling
