Environmental Health Safety Manager (EHS) Elkhart, IN, United States Bonnell Aluminum is seeking a dynamic leader for a plant-based Environmental Health and Safety Manager opportunity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting frequently with individuals at all levels within the plant, as well as with colleagues throughout the company and representatives from regulatory agencies. This role requires strong skills in resource management, including sourcing and coordinating employees, external experts, equipment, and materials to ensure environmental compliance. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional growth through leadership, technical training, and Six Sigma development. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all plant safety & environmental operations and compliance on a 24/7 basis. Responsible for maintaining and improving an environmental management system at the plant level which ensures compliance with or exceeds the requirements of environmental laws, regulations, policies, and guidance documents. Responsible for managing environmental demands with manufacturing demands (costs, productivity, environmental compliance, quality requirements; safety and sense of urgency) Responsible for conservation of resources and reuse/recycling of waste to control costs and minimizing and eliminating waste streams and emissions. Responsible for achieving goodwill with employees, community, and regulatory environmental groups.
