The Role As the VP of Engineering, you will own the engineering organization and the technical delivery of rebuyengine.com http://rebuyengine.com. You will lead the Engineering Managers and the engineering pods (4-6 engineers each, one team captain per pod) and partner with the VP of Product on the roadmap and with the COO on operational execution. One of the main objectives will be to deliver the 2nd version of the API-first surface - the standardized REST tool set that makes Rebuy the cleanest API in the Shopify ecosystem for agents to call. What You'll Do: - Set engineering strategy, architecture direction and the bar for code, reliability, and security - Lead and grow the engineering organization through Engineering Managers; install the pod operating model - Ship the V2 REST API surface, the OpenAPI spec, and the agent-readiness layer
