AWS Network Engineer London QRT is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager, operating across all liquid asset classes. We are a data- and technology-driven organization applying scientific methods to investing. The AWS Cloud Engineering Team provide a scalable, performant and best practice platform for QRT's application and core teams to utilize in deploying cloud native services. This team is critical in ensuring that applications are built on a strong AWS foundation from the perspective of governance, security and connectivity. Your future role within QRT We are seeking an experienced technologist to work within our AWS Cloud Engineering team to support the growth and maturation of our cloud network. The role is expected to involve the following activities: - Develop and manage our complex global AWS network architecture - Join a dynamic, fast-paced environment with extensive opportunity for personal growth - Use infrastructure-as-code to ensure scale and consistency of the environment - Use automated deployment to ensure that changes can be controlled in an appropriate manner - Explore and onboard new AWS services and features as part of continuous improvement of the AWS platform - Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our network governance and observability practices - Ensure that traffic is observable in a usable fashion - Develop strong, positive relationships with Security, IT and End User teams Your present skillset - 3+ years of experience in a cloud
