Sr Engineer, Process Control Automation Job Posting Location Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future What to Expect As a Senior Automation Engineer based out of our Denver office, you will be the on-site automation expert supporting the Integrated Control Center (ICC) designing, implementing, and optimizing process control solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across large, complex systems. This is a seasoned, standalone role for someone who can operate independently, partner with diverse stakeholders, lead capital projects end-to-end, and bring deep technical judgment to large-scale gas plant and process control challenges. What You'll Do Independently lead the design, programming, configuration, testing, and implementation of process automation solutions for large, complex systems (e.g., full gas plant builds, high-IO-count installations, integrated PLC/HMI/server architectures) Lead and execute capital projects for automation systems end-to-end, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines Analyze business processes and recommend automation strategies, including lifecycle management and optimization Develop reusable automation scripts, frameworks, and smart workflows to replicate and improve processes Architect, implement, and support distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), remote terminal units (RTUs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance automation equipment and systems, ensuring safety and reliab
