About this role
Sr. QA Automation Engineer Denver, CO (Greenwood Village) Job Description As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and launch of our consumer-facing streaming application on the WebTV platform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the product and its features meet all requirements and quality standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the automation test frameworks and assist in maintaining and implementing the test methods and procedures necessary to verify and validate the functionality and overall health of our client platform. Responsibilities Develop detailed test cases, including meaningful test steps, acceptance criteria, and expected results, based on functional requirements and UI/UX comps. Execute testing efforts to ensure the application meets high standards of performance, reliability, and usability. Develop and maintain the automation testing suite, collaborating with other Automation Engineers to maximize the reusability of automation scripts across projects. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle. Participate in ad hoc and exploratory testing beyond pre-existing test cases and user stories. Utilize risk-based testing approaches to prioritize testing efforts. Analyze and report test results, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations to the development team. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in frontend web application testing, implementing new techniques to enhance testing efficiency. ·Successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and work independently.
