About this role
Technical Targeting Analyst Washington, District of Columbia Summary Technical Targeting Analysts evaluate data across a variety of specialized technical areas to provide insights that drive decision-making for operations. Duties Technical Targeting Analysts use data science and analysis methods to improve how we gather and study information. They rely on data to spot patterns and key insights in large, varied sets of information. The role requires a strong background in data science, problem solving, and data analysis, plus the ability to learn and adopt new technologies and methods quickly, and strong communication skills to explain the details of their work for different audiences. Technical Targeting Analysts may work alongside officers from other areas of CIA or the Intelligence Community to provide direct targeting analysis.
