Product Manager, Premium Subscriptions San Francisco, California, United States About the Team The ChatGPT Growth team is responsible for helping hundreds of millions of people around the world discover, adopt, and find increasing value from ChatGPT. We work across the full customer journey, including acquisition, activation, and monetization. Within Growth, the Premium team focuses on our consumer subscriptions, including our Go, Plus, and Pro plans. About the Role We're looking for a product manager to lead subscriber activation and retention for ChatGPT's consumer subscriptions. ChatGPT is evolving quickly, with increasingly capable models, multimodal experiences, and agentic capabilities. This role is about helping paid users understand and experience that value, from subscriber onboarding and feature discovery to long-term retention. You'll shape how new premium features are introduced, help bring new subscription offerings to market, and serve as a steward for a high-quality subscriber journey. This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven, execution-oriented PM who is equally comfortable shaping new subscription bets and obsessing over the details of the paid user experience. In this role, you will: - Drive the strategy and roadmap for subscriber onboarding, activation, and retention - Define how new cutting-edge capabilities are introduced, positioned, and monetized for paid users - Scope and launch new subscription offerings - Be a steward for a high-quality user experience, with a high bar for clarity, usability, and trust across the subscriber journey - Use data, experimentation, and user research to understand subscriber needs and improve outcomes - Collaborate with core product
