Works with minimal direction and provides technical expertise and leadership in the practice of reliability engineering. Leads complex reliability initiatives, assessments, and projects. LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY • Complex responsibilities related to primary focus of job area. Uses best practices and in-depth business knowledge to solve complex problems and improve products or services. May adapt procedures, processes and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Participate in project design phase reviews as an asset reliability subject matter expert. Conduct asset criticality evaluations, maintenance strategy development, and spare parts analysis for medium to large sized asset addition and replacement projects and existing assets. Optimize existing maintenance strategies. Perform asset reliability assessments. Lead and facilitate root cause failure analyses. Implement reliability corrective actions resulting from root cause failure analysis. Develop and maintain reliability documentation, standards, and procedures.
