Program Business Manager C27J Australia-NSW-Richmond AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Yes RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE TYPE: AU- Secret (NV1) TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Description As the Program Business Manager, you will be the financial leader and trusted business partner for the C‑27J program. Working closely with the Program Director and broader leadership team, you'll be responsible for end‑to‑end financial management, governance, reporting and insights that enable informed decision‑making and program success. In this hands‑on role, you will: Act as the key business partner to the Program Director, providing clear, timely and value‑adding financial insight Own program financial performance including forecasting, estimates at completion, cash management, invoicing and reporting Lead and embed strong project controls, financial governance and CAM processes Present financial performance and insights to customers and internal stakeholders with confidence Coordinate monthly, quarterly and long‑range financial planning activities (LRSP and AOP) Support contract deliverables, including pricing, change proposals and customer reporting Identify financial and commercial risks, developing mitigation strategies that protect program outcomes Lead and mentor a small team, fostering financial acumen, collaboration and continuous improvement Build trusted relationships across program teams, suppliers, customers and internal functions This role offers genuine influence, customer engagement and the chance to shape best‑practice financial outcomes within a complex Defence aviation environment.
