In this role, you'll help people own it. Main Responsibilities - Oversee the end-to-end accounting process for group holding companies, including the review of purchase and sales transactions managed by the GL Accountant - Support in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting - Participation in thorough and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) - Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements - Collaboration in an external audit by promptly and accurately responding to audit requests - Assisting with various ad-hoc accounting inquiries - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve daily operational accounting matters - Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency - Document and implement standardized accounting procedures to enhance internal controls and consistency. Core Requirements - Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience) - 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles - Overall accounting knowledge, preferably IFRS - Experience working with Business Central (former Microsoft Dynamics NAV) or Workday - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Attention to details - Flexible and able to
