In your role as a Payroll Specialist, you will provide operational support as a competent point of contact for the business units assigned to you in all matters relating to payroll. You can expect a dynamic, exciting, and demanding area of responsibility in an international environment that offers a wide range of challenges and development opportunities. Your Responsibilities: You proactively and professionally solve challenges in the field of payroll You carry out all payroll activities in collaboration with our payroll provider You answer questions regarding salary, social security, working hours, vacation, maternity leave, parental leave, etc. You review special cases with regard to tax and social security relevance You work closely with our Business Partners / Employee Experience team You are a trustworthy and committed individual and are characterized by a reliable and efficient way of working You independently organize your area of responsibility and maintain an overview even under time pressure Strong teamwork skills and enjoyment in working with people complete your profile Qualifications: Fluent in English (written and spoken) Several years of professional experience in payroll Good MS Office skills - especially Excel Organizational skills, reliability in time deadlines, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, and flexibility Knowledge of Workday is an advantage Additional Information: Our Benefits Flexible working environment Volunteer time off LinkedIn Learning Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various
