Software Project Manager United Kingdom-Cheltenham UK CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Yes RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE TYPE: UK-Highest Level of Government Clearance TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Salary: £ 55,700 - £83,500 We are looking for a Delivery / Project Manager for our Cheltenham office with in a delivery team. This is an operational role, which requires an understanding of a variety of project and delivery management tools and techniques as well as a varying degree of knowledge of the customer's domain in order to understand and provide relevant assistance to improve their ways of working or to assist in developing solutions. In this role you will provide financial guidance, tasking, understanding and advice across specialist deliveries relevant to the customer's mission. The main tasks and responsibilities of this role is as follows: Responsible for the financial management of projects, including understanding of risk and cost mitigation for delivery. Responsible for the profitability of the project, and identifying and raising potential opportunities of how to increase profitability of the project. Responsible for delivering the project within the contracting constraints, including to time, budget and quality for T&M and FP contracts. Responsible for the performance of the team both from a customer deliverable perspective and from a commercial perspective. Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing team, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well. Maintain delivery momentum by focusing the team on what is most important to the current project priorities. Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement
