Lead the transformation of Industrial Design concepts into functional and manufacturability of the products, while following Newell's Product Development Process. Ensure the product meets or exceeds expectations from a cost, timing, and specification standpoint, and work effectively with other disciplines including Marketing, Industrial Design, Product Engineer, Sourcing and suppliers to ensure design goals and quality target are met for new product launches. Job Duties: Ensure final product design meets all charter requirements including appearance, feature/function, applicable international/national/local law & regulation, cost and lead-time requirements, etc. Take lead on 3D/2D, create solid CAD models of components and assemblies by utilizing Solidworks and Creo software.
