Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time. The Finance and Strategy (F&S) team for Partnerships is seeking an experienced individual contributor to join our team, acting as a trusted thought partner to influence our partnerships strategy in the region. We have an opening for a Manager in our Japan team, based out of Tokyo. This role is primarily focused on defining partnership strategy and analyzing partnership opportunities, as well as supporting strategic growth initiatives to shape broader country strategy in Japan. Partnerships are a critical driver of growth for Netflix. The most common types of partnerships are bundles. Our team evaluates opportunities with all partners (e.g. telcos, e-commerce) and analyzes their performance over time. During negotiations, we provide strategic guidance to the Business Development team using data and insights. When partnerships are launched, we monitor their performance and search for best practices and areas of improvement. The team also plays a critical role in contributing to the broader growth strategy at the market level, providing competitive intelligence, local guidance on price and plan strategy, and driving learning agenda in conjunction with our Data Science and Engineering (DSE) and Consumer Insights (CI) teams.
