The opportunity We are looking for an experienced counsel to join the Netflix legal team in Seoul. The role will be responsible for handling various B2B commercial agreements relating to Netflix's various growth areas such as advertising, consumer products, and marketing/brand partnerships in Korea. The role will report to the Korea General Counsel, based in Seoul, Korea. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage end-to-end drafting, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of B2B commercial agreements supporting Netflix's growth initiatives in Korea, including consumer products and marketing/brand partnerships. Provide comprehensive legal support to Netflix's advertising business in Korea, including drafting and negotiating agreements with advertising agencies, advertisers, measurement partners, and other third-party service providers. Serve as one of the primary legal partners to the advertising, consumer products, and marketing/brand partnerships teams, providing practical, business-oriented advice on deal structures, risk allocation, rights, approvals, sponsorship structures, and new ad products. Provide clear and pragmatic guidance on Korean advertising regulations, including consumer protection, fair labeling, promotions, and industry standards, and translate regulatory requirements into actionable business recommendations.
