Automation Engineer - Kabirwala Factory Country Pakistan Position: Automation Engineer Location: Kabirwala Factory Job Type: Full-time Position Summary Support factory operations by ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient automation, control, and electrical systems. Drive equipment performance, process optimization, and continuous improvement while maintaining the highest standards of safety, product quality, and compliance. A Day in the Role Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, and control systems Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of automation equipment Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of automation projects Improve line efficiency through process control and system optimization Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and engineering standards Train operators and technicians on automation systems Apply TPM and digital/engineering tools (NSAT, NIMS, AMM, etc.) Manage critical automation spare parts and system backups Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis for technical issues What Will Make You Successful 1-3 years experience in automation/controls/maintenance Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering degree or equivalent Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and industrial networks Exposure to TPM and preventive maintenance systems Experience in equipment start-up or technical projects Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work with cross-functional and contractor teams Self-driven with focus on KPIs and results
