About this role
Client Associate New York, NY Position Overview: The Private Wealth Client Service Associate is a client-facing role supporting Team Kaminsky within Neuberger's Private Wealth Management business. The Associate will serve as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, delivering hands-on, high-touch administrative and service support across onboarding, account management, and day-to-day client needs. In addition, this individual will serve as a backup equity trader for the team, stepping in to execute trades in a disciplined and responsible manner when the team's primary trader is unavailable. The Associate will partner closely with Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, and Business Controls to ensure a seamless and rewarding client experience. Primary Responsibilities: Serve as a primary service contact for existing and prospective private wealth clients, delivering responsive, high-touch support with strong follow-up and diligent execution Establish new accounts for individual and entity clients, including document preparation, KYC data gathering and review, quality control checks prior to submission, account funding coordination, and information follow-up Process account maintenance requests including: KYC updates (name changes, address changes, personal data updates, and investment objective changes), control and interested party updates, and account feature changes such as check writing, margin, and options Review and process requests for fund disbursements, securities gifting, ACATs, and DTC transfers, ensuring accuracy and timely execution Address client inquiries and service requests promptly; resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate complex matters as appropriate Identify and flag suspicious activity to mitigate risk and prevent potential fraudulent account behavior Provide support for the client
