About this role
IOP/PSC Team Lead - St. Louis, MO St. Louis, MO ***This position is based in St. Louis, MO - travel required**** An In-Office Phlebotomist Supervisor will supervise the day-to-day operations of the designated In-Office Phlebotomists in their territory and oversee Natera's phlebotomy program locally at specified locations. An In-Office Phlebotomist Supervisor may be required to cover at their clinics as needed, where they will serve patients by identifying the best method for retrieving blood, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and performing screening procedures. Primary Responsibilities: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of phlebotomists across designated locations. Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training of new in-office phlebotomists. Conduct regular performance evaluations, routine audits, competencies, and inspections, provide feedback, and implement staff development initiatives to maintain quality patient care at all times. Work with Contracting and Analytics to process monthly compliance and quarterly audits. Manage staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage and productivity at all clinics. Oversee supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation. Ensure that all In-Office Phlebotomists operate efficiently, consistently adhering to protocols and procedures. Develop and implement strategies in tandem with the Senior Manager to ensure patient access, meet financial and volume targets, and improve efficiency. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as patient volumes, turnaround times, and specimen quality to drive operational improvements.
