Who you are Metropolis is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Revenue Platform team. In this role, you will own the technical direction for our billing, payments, and invoicing infrastructure, charting the course for a system that already processes tens of millions in monthly transactions. You will balance immediate business needs with long-term architectural improvements, identifying high-impact enhancements and designing practical migration strategies to support our rapid growth. As a technical leader, you will partner closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to solve complex challenges involving pricing rules, subscription billing, and enterprise invoicing. You are a systems thinker who enjoys understanding how things work and building the roadmaps that improve a platform while it runs. Your work will directly shape how Metropolis monetizes its platform and expands into new verticals beyond parking, ensuring our financial systems remain resilient, compliant, and remarkably efficient.
