Who you are Metropolis is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for our “Network Expansion” team. You will play a key role in building new functionality to support our expansion into new mobility verticals and larger, more complex parking markets. This role requires an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, working both cross-functionally with product, design, and operations as well as working across multiple engineering teams. What you'll do - Provide technical direction that influences the entire company by formulating and implementing a technical vision and roadmap - Lead large, cross-team initiatives through the entire development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements through successful launch - Lead multiple engineering teams (10-15 engineers) towards a common goal - Work cross-functionally with designers and product managers to understand, model, and solve real-world problems - Own the outcomes! You're responsible for real-world metrics shifts and company-defining business outcomes, not just for shipping software
