Power Electrical Engineer Sunnyvale, CA As a Hardware Electrical Engineer at Meta, you will design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for a wide range of applications, from next-generation consumer hardware to large-scale infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including mechanical, optical, firmware, software, and manufacturing experts-to deliver impactful solutions. Your work may span the full product or system lifecycle, from early prototyping and feasibility studies to large-scale deployment. You will be part of an environment that values technical quality, rapid iteration, and creative problem-solving. Responsibilities: - Lead the electrical development of highly complex systems or multiple subsystems, driving technical direction and architecture - Define and drive electrical architecture, system integration, and technical strategy for major projects - Lead cross-functional design reviews, resolve technical conflicts, and ensure alignment across engineering disciplines - Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies, processes, or methodologies to improve system/product performance, reliability, and features - Oversee hardware bring-up, debugging, and support for manufacturing, assembly, deployment, or operational readiness at scale - Evaluate and influence vendor and partner solutions, ensuring alignment with Meta's requirements and long-term strategy - Mentor and coach engineers at all levels - Operate autonomously, set direction for teams, and manage priorities across multiple projects or workstreams - Collaborate globally across distributed teams, influencing cross-organization initiatives and technical strategy - Champion operational clarity, compliance, and specialized requirements, driving continuous improvement and best practices Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent industry experience
