Senior Staff Product Engineer Irvine, CA, US Responsibilities MaxLinear is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Product Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following: Work with cross functional teams in developing complex SOC products from concept to production release and sustaining phases Responsible for product quality, meeting product cost targets and delivering to the required timelines Define and execute the product characterization plan and provide feedback to the design team about the performance, design margins, yields Develop the Final Test and Probe test plans Develop and manage product qualification requirements (Package Qual, Burn-in, ESD, Latchup) Responsible for on-going product cost reduction efforts and quality improvements including Test Time reductions/optimization, alternate source qualifications, yield improvement Work with suppliers/vendors to ensure overall product quality and cost Responsible for supporting customer returns through coordination with core team members to resolve issues (Failure Analysis, Test improvements) Qualifications Proven track record of delivering multiple SOCs to production Experience with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), such as Verigy and Teradyne Experience with Data Analysis Tools for Characterization Reports and Yield Reporting: Excel VBA, JMP, Galaxy, Data Conductor or PDF Exensio, Optimalplus Experience with common Fabless Standard Logic CMOS Process Technologies (28nm and below) and correlation to product performance, quality, and y
