The Role The IT Technician will provide onsite technical support at a remote mine site, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all technology systems that support mining operations. This role supports endusers, network infrastructure, hardware, software, communication systems, and operational technology (OT) used in the field. The technician will troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, manage equipment inventory, and work closely with the corporate IT team to maintain compliance with company standards. What You'll Do Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and specialized mining equipment interfaces. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a highdemand, fastpaced environment. - Assist with installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems and applications. - Support minesite users with connectivity issues, authentication, VPN
