Reporting to a Paralegal Manager, the Paralegal I provides support for routine litigation matters including client communication, discovery, pleading preparation and legal research on litigation matters under the direction of aligned attorneys and people leader. Please be advised that Paralegals are expected to align their working hours with EST and CST time zones to support their respective staff legal office teams. Note: Due to business requirements, we are unable to consider candidates residing in the following states: California, Arkansas, Kentucky and North Carolina. Responsibilities: Legal Research: Efficiently locate and retrieve relevant case law, statutes, and regulations using legal research tools and databases to support attorneys in building effective legal arguments. Technology Integration: Efficiently manage legal documents, deadlines, and electronically stored information during litigation using case management and e-discovery tools, while proactively leveraging new and existing technologies to optimize workflow, streamline processes, and generate data-driven insights for improved outcomes.
