Product Sustainability Engineer - HYBRID Canonsburg, PA, US Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Product Sustainability Engineer to join the Starline team. This role plays a central part in advancing the sustainability performance of Starline's product portfolio by integrating environmental considerations throughout product development and lifecycle management.In this position, you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, packaging, and sustainability teams to translate sustainability goals into practical product insights. The role supports transparency initiatives, eco‑design, and decarbonization efforts, helping ensure Starline products meet evolving customer expectations while reducing environmental impact. What You Will Do Support product‑level sustainability and transparency initiatives, including Product Environmental Profiles (PEPs), eco‑design methodologies, and product‑specific decarbonization efforts. Develop, maintain, and improve environmental performance models to assess embodied and use‑phase impacts. Coordinate sustainability data collection, validation, and reporting across teams to support internal decision‑making and external disclosures such as LEED, WELL, and customer sustainability requests. Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify and implement design‑related opportunities that reduce waste, improve material efficiency, and lower environmental impacts.
