Design Engineer II Warsaw, IN, US Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer II to join the Audio Video Division in Warsaw, IN. This position is responsible for the design, development, and transition to production of consumer directed, aesthetically-pleasing, innovative, cost-effective and reproducible designs of projection screens, easels, and accessories for the audio-visual industry. This position is responsible for participating on cross-functional development teams for the purpose of ensuring high integrity designs through effective use of appropriate analytical tools and techniques. What Will You Do? • Design aesthetically-pleasing, functional and manufacturable customer driven, innovative products • Responsible for assisting Marketing team members by providing leadership, guidance and education to both internal and external customers on product features, advantages and benefits stemming from the designs • Effectively interface with engineers, designers, technicians, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers to meet project commitments • Effectively influence and communicate between internal departments to manage projects • Participate in developing project plans, test plans, and writing test reports; assist with creating, maintaining, and revising product project plans and effectively communicate project deadlines • Create product documentation: solid modeling of components and assemblies, technical drawings, BOM's and ECO's • Participate in and/or lead cro
