2nd Shift Assembly Supervisor Kenosha, WI, US Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Shift Assembly Supervisor to join the Kenall Team in Kenosha, WI . The Assembly Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the operation of the Assembly Department. The overall objective is the efficient and effective use of labor, material, tools, equipment and facilities in meeting customer requirements as directed by production schedules issued by Material Control. The successful Assembly Supervisor will hire, train, assist, maintain morale, and motivate employees. A mutually cooperative working relationship with other supervisors and managers is critical to the overall success of the manufacturing operations and the company. What Will You Do? LABOR Supervise the employees reporting to the Assembly Department. This includes regular hourly employees, temporary employees, and seasonal employees. Train all employees in safe work habits, awareness and compliance with federal, state and company safety rules. Monitor and assure compliance. In conjunction with Human Resources , maintain employee records of attendance, vacations, training, as well as disciplinary procedures. Provide assistance and direction to employees on matters of company policies and procedures. In conjunction with Human Resources , review and update Job Descriptions when appropriate, at a minimum of once per year. In conjunction with Human Resources , utilize Skill Set Assessment process as a tool to evalua
