Team Manager-2nd Shift Mountain Lakes, NJ, USA The Team Manager provides leadership and employee relations support in accordance with organizational policies and practices. This role assists in strategic planning and helps establish organization, unit, and site goals. The Team Manager is a safety-focused leader who maintains a consistent presence on the plant floor, drives manufacturing execution, and actively supports operational and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide employee relations support in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and practices. Uphold a strong safety culture and execute assigned Environmental, Safety, Sustainability, and Health (ESSH) responsibilities. Maintain a consistent and visible presence on the plant floor; this role requires hands-on engagement with operations and employees and is not office-based. Direct daily activities of assigned workgroups, including resolving problems, answering questions, assigning work, and prioritizing tasks. Perform staffing and resource planning by scheduling resources, monitoring daily processes, and redeploying resources as needed to meet operational requirements. Develop employees through coaching, counseling, and performance feedback; assign work aligned to development goals. Plan, coordinate, and support employee training activities, including hands-on learning and cross-functional skill development. Gain and maintain a working knowledge of all manufacturing equipment through hands-on operation to effectively support troubleshooting, training, and process improvements. Take a lead role in plant manufacturing projects, including process improvements, equipment initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support production goals, quality, safety, and efficiency objectives.
