About this role
Technician Manager Lancaster, TX Kodiak Robotics, Inc. was founded in 2018 and has become a leader in autonomous ground transportation committed to a safer and more efficient future for all. The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense. In this role, you will: Lead & Supervise - Own your work, jump in where needed and provide direction and support to our team of technicians, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards Oversee Daily Operations - Manage workflows, assign tasks, and ensure all maintenance, repairs, and servicing are completed on time Project Management - Keep track of the fleet, prototype builds, and test requests - ensuring we have everything needed to keep the team running smoothly Ensure Safety & Compliance - Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant shop environment by enforcing policies and procedures Optimize Efficiency - Continuously improve technician processes to maximize productivity and minimize downtime Cross Functionality - Work closely with multiple engineering teams to facilitate building and testing prototypes What you'll bring: Leadership & Experience - You have 7+ years of experience in an engineering/technician department, with a proven track
