About this role
Utilities Services Technician Cincinnati The role: Reporting to the Utility Services Manager, the utilities services technician is responsible for the maintaining and monitoring of the utilities systems which ensure that quality and production can be maintained. This includes purified water generation and distribution, steam boilers, compressed air, wastewater treatment, raw material unloading, climate control/air handling, and dust collection. You will also schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks, ensure proper documentation, respond promptly to alarms, and participate in the creation and revision of relevant standard operating procedures and work instructions. 12 hour shift 7pm -7am. What you will do: - Respond to and resolve alarms relating to utilities systems using technical knowledge. Ensure that all actions performed are properly documented. - Perform preventative maintenance on utilities systems. Ensure that these tasks are performed according to the relevant standard operating procedure and appropriately documented. - Perform daily checks, data logging, and system monitoring for utilities systems. - Maintain and organize records and historical data. - Evaluate concerns with utilities and communicate to leadership as necessary while providing feedback about proposed resolutions and ideas for improvement.
