The primary responsibility will be to assure the Safety of all team members, on time delivery to our customers with zero customer non-conformances. The Operations Supervisor is also responsible for continual improvements while assuring that team members are following work standards. Additional responsibilities will include working with the Distribution Center Manager to ensure financial responsibilities are met and strategic planning as necessary. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: Ensuring the safety of all employees and visitors Assist with the overall security and safety of the facility to include fire and security system, ID badge system Work with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to drive improvement. Support development and execution of Work Instructions. Assist with the overall maintenance of the facility Manage the scheduling of employee hours to include reconciling hours, vacation and weekly payroll approvals Responsible for compliance to all corporate safety policies and procedures affecting the warehouse Coaching and corrective counseling employees on behavioral and performance issues. Coordinate daily operational activities in accordance with work standards to meet customer shipments with zero customer complaints.
