About this role

European Natural Gas & LNG Analyst/Trader London, England, United Kingdom About the Position We are looking for an experienced natural gas analyst/trader to help our team develop our existing fundamental-driven trading. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing deep insight into the European and/or Global gas market, driving and owning modelling and associated trading strategy. The role sits within the global Commodity team, which covers a wide range of products and strategy types within Jane Street's core quantitative trading strategy. The right person will have a strong fundamental background in natural gas and enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. About You - 3+ years of professional experience in analyzing European natural gas fundamentals - Exposure to building part or all of the Global LNG S&D balance is a plus - Strong analytical capabilities - Experience with oil or gas physical markets is beneficial - Proficiency in statistics - Coding skills are a plus - Fluency in English required If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to [email protected] .
