Job Description: PURPOSE OF POSITION: Analyze financial statements, trade reports, and references to determine the credit worthiness of established and potential customers that are Domestic, Canadian, and International within authority level. Responsible for completing credit investigations and recommendations for all orders in excess of their authority. Other duties as assigned. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Determine credit worthiness to approve Domestic, Canadian and Export orders within assigned authority levels by using the following tools: Dun & Bradstreet Credit Reports, forecast programs, Financial statement analysis, Trade reports, References, etc. Review of customer orders consistent with the application of ITT credit policy Establish current credit limits to maximize sales and minimize losses. Analyize terms and conditions on orders and gain proper divisional acceptance for extraordinary terms. Maintenance of customer master database Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Education: A.A.S. in Business with minimum two years credit/collection experience, OR Experience: Five years credit/collection experience, two credited business courses, must include Accounting I. Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Strong customer service skills Basic accounting knowledge PC Skills including MS Office Excellent communication skills both written and oral Problem solving and strong analytical skills Must be enthusiastic and
