FS/ Product Owner – Risk and Compliance – Sr Con Position : Product Owner Role : Senior Consultant Location : Richardson, TX The Role The Product Owner will lead the definition and delivery of product capabilities within the Risk and Controls domain, with a strong focus on Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and monitoring and testing platforms. The role requires hands-on experience working in Agile environments, partnering closely with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to translate control and regulatory requirements into scalable, well-designed product solutions. This role operates across multiple Scrum teams, requiring strong dependency management, early identification of risks, and effective coordination across platforms and stakeholders. Experience with AI-enabled capabilities is a strong plus, though not a mandatory requirement. Responsibilities: - Own the product / value stream vision which will be the north star for driving strategic outcomes for the Scrum Team(s) supported. - Own and manage the product backlog for risk and control capabilities - Inspire the team to deliver upon the goals. - Lead the product functional design process and story mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities. - Work in an agile environment by continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks. - Create features and functionalities which enable achieving business goals by collaborating with stakeholders. - Create and own the product backlog prioritizing features which enable maximizing the business value. - Facilitate backlog decomposition sessions with the technology teams to clearly define requirements from a user
