About this role
Senior Account Manager Madrid, Spain (ES01) ICF Next is one of the leading integrated communication agencies in Europe, specialising in large-scale campaigns across the European Union. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing FWCs, working under the guidance of an Account Director or the Head of ADs. This role requires expertise in client management, including regular client engagement to expand portfolios and gather feedback on agency performance. The Senior Account Manager works closely with project teams, providing client insights, feedback, and direction to ensure satisfaction. Key responsibilities include developing financial and technical proposals, defending them, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The role requires meeting deadlines and performing effectively under pressure. Additionally, the Senior Account Manager will create FWC activation plans, implement strategies to meet KPIs, and provide regular reports on financial performance and client satisfaction. Ensuring timely delivery of final reports and collection of payments is also crucial. Qualifications Up to 6 years of experience in communications, preferably within EU institutions Master's degree in communication, political science, marketing, or a related field Strong understanding of communication areas including media relations, social media, creative concept development, event management, and production Experience in financial management, budget preparation, and subcontractor management Extensive project management experience, from inception to closure and reporting Excellent client-facing skills with strong communication and negotiation abilities Commercially driven, proactive, and eager to stay up to date with communication trends A collaborative team player with leadership qualities and motivational skills Proficient in English and French Key
