ABOUT THE ROLE The NOC Engineer is the operational backbone of our Network Operations Center. This is an active, "on the tools" position where you will monitor eight production sites, triage alerts, and independently resolve P3/P4 infrastructure incidents. Working alongside the NOC Lead, you will gain deep exposure to a modern, GCP-hosted operational stack. Team & Shift Structure We use a sustainable, three-tier coverage model built to prevent burnout: - Tier 1 (First Response): TechOps Engineers handle after-hours and weekend pages. - Tier 2 (Escalation): You and the NOC Lead alternate weekly primary coverage, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure. You only receive escalations if an issue exceeds Tier 1 scope. - Hours: Mon-Fri daytime (~08:00-18:00 MT). Shift handovers are efficiently tracked via Jira and a quick daily sync. - On-call participation is compensated separately from base salary.
