Quality Technician Iron Mountain, MI Job Overview The Quality Technician position is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our manufactured products. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Perform inspection of products and materials Conduct internal process and ISO audits in Panel and Equipment Enclosure manufacturing Participate in and support Corrective and Preventive Action process Participate on practical problem-solving teams Create NCNs and support disposition of Nonconforming product process Create and circulate Quality Alerts Document standard work in method sheets, procedures, or work instructions What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Science or Engineering field is preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand manufacturing prints, drawings Background in welding and general construction environments Ability to earn a scissor lift license ISO 9001 understanding and experience; previous audit experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Familiar with Lean Manufacturing techniques Demonstrated problem solving ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Hubbell Incorporated Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
