The Mechanical Engineer assists in the fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machines, equipment, and tools. This role also ensures that all equipment is in accordance with quality and safety standards. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Working with other engineers or independently, developing and designing new products from concept to full production using 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor). Collaborate with cross-functional teams or work independently to support product lines and resolve design challenges. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, reporting status and maintaining schedules. Product full engineering documentation - detailed drawings, bills of materials, and engineering change notices. Redesign products for improved function, cost efficiency, and sustainability. Troubleshoot production and design-related issues. Assist in tooling and manufacturing process decisions, reviewing first article inspection reports. What will help you thrive in this role?
