Advanced Hardware Engineer, Avionics Phoenix, AZ, United States Advanced Hardware Engineer, Avionics Phoenix, AZ, United States BE THE FIRST TO APPLY Job Description As an Advanced Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating advanced hardware components and systems that support aerospace applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver cutting-edge hardware solutions that meet stringent aerospace standards and customer requirements. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. In this role, you will impact the development of next-generation aerospace hardware systems that enhance safety, reliability, and performance in the aviation industry, contributing to Honeywell's leadership in aerospace technology innovation. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and develop advanced hardware components and systems for aerospace applications • Perform hardware validation and verification (V&V), qualification testing, troubleshooting, and regulatory certification to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations • Collaborate with software and systems engineers to integrate hardware and software solutions • Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field from an ABEET accredited university • Experience in advanced hardware design and development within aerospace or related industries • Strong knowledge of hardware validation, testing methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques • Proficiency with hardware design tools such as CAD software
