We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to focus on the financial plans of the organization in order to achieve our goals and objectives. Carries out defined steps or processes. May work closely with senior executives and/or key business leaders. Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data and recommending actions. Mortgage industry experience strongly preferred Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to management Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential Performs medium and long-term tasks and more complex requests and activities Regularly uses independent judgement to resolve non-routine issues escalated from junior team members Serves as a subject matter expert with technical knowledge and broad understanding of their field Influences junior team members by providing advanced understanding and guidance of the subject area Conveys and exchanges basic technical and factual information with colleagues, clients and customers May have limited management responsibilities May be responsible for providing basic training to new employees May supervise entry or experienced level professional staff Other functions as needed High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
